We interrupt your Saturday with an important message! It’s a rainy weekend down here, so we’re being lazy and wanted to take a quick minute to tell you about our experience at the North Florida Home Show last weekend.
Here are a few reasons why you should go to a home show when offered in your area!
- See who the local businesses are and what they have to offer. They have all kinds of marketing stuff so you can get countless business cards that you’re sure to refer back on while doing work on your house or preparing to sell. Some that jumped out at us were cleaning services like outdoor pressure washing and sand blasting, pest control services if and when we need it, and bathroom remodel services (we’re thinking about replacing some things in master bath).
- Enter in drawings to win some awesome prizes. Unfortunately we didn’t win anything but there were all kinds of drawings for prizes like gas grills, Yeti coolers, a year of pest control service, a Sleep Number mattress, the list goes on.
- If you’re going for something in particular, you’re bound to get a great deal. We tested a Sleep Number mattress that was 50% off that day only. If we were in the market and could spare the cash, no doubt we would have taken up that deal!
- Related to all of the marketing stuff, you can restock on pens and candy!
Update: we are currently re-watching The Office because we just love it so much. We recently watched an episode that relates to some of the small perks that come with attending these types of events. See Michael Scott’s SWAG acronym in Season 3: Episode 2: “The Convention…” HILARIOUS!
Below are some pictures that sum up our experience at the home show!
this company had great shower and tub options we may consider in a few months
home and auto window tinting
can I just have that pergola please?!
we are getting a free estimate from this company soon for soda blasting on our brick exterior
probably the strangest booth – Adam enjoyed the pillows, I found it a little annoying
this was my favorite! we’re dreaming about a new mattress now
Happy Saturday guys!
’til next time,
